13.  PURCHASING FIREARMS

a)  Background checks will be run on all firearm(s) buyers per legal requirements.  Buyer is solely responsible for any fees related to the background checks.  If buyer does not pass the background check, ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS will be made for the fees or the purchased item(s).  It is the bidder’s responsibility to know if they can pass a background check prior to bidding on any firearm(s).  If there are any questions about your ability to pass a background check, or if you have any felony conviction on your record, PLEASE DO NOT BID on any firearm(s).

b)  Oklahoma residents may pick up their firearms from 3200 W Modelle Ave at the assigned pick-up time.  If firearms are not picked up, then the firearms must be shipped to a registered FFL dealer.  Winning bidders must contact United Country Heard Auction & Real Estate with their preferred FFL dealer to ship their firearm(s) within 5 working days of the close of the auction or purchased firearm(s) shall be forfeited to United Country Heard Auction & Real Estate and no monies will be refunded.  We suggest to all bidders that you contact an FFL dealer in advance to bidding so that you may get an understanding to the process and the fees that you will incur.

c)  Buyer is responsible for the shipping charges to the FFL dealer as well as any charges that dealer may assess for the transfer of the firearm.  There is also a handling fee on all firearms that must be shipped ($15 on rifles/shotguns and $10 on handguns; CA residents are $20 on rifles/shotguns and $15 on handguns).  If the firearm(s) is returned to United Country Heard Auction & Real Estate for any reason, buyer is responsible for the shipping charges back to United Country Heard Auction & Real Estate and the firearm is then forfeited over to United Country Heard Auction & Real Estate and no monies shall be refunded.
